Owners Jason Plevey and Adie Callaghan have over 20 years experience in hospitality and event management and regularly work for national and international organisations as well as private individuals and local businesses.

Jason

Jason is a fully trained chef with a passion for preparing rustic, hearty food using only the very best local ingredients that he and his team can source. Jason, who started his career as a Commis Chef back in 1994, has worked in various countries and travelled extensively, working as a chef. Whilst travelling, he also followed his other passion and became a qualified mountain guide. He has vast experience working and running large kitchens as Head Chef.

Adie

Adie’s background is from the corporate world where she worked in marketing at a senior level for many years working with leading brands at an international level. Adie joined Jason in June 2014 to drive the business forward and to take Appetite for Adventure to the next level. Adie also has a passion for adventure.

Together

Together they bring you Appetite for Adventure, an outside catering, mobile bar and events management company that has built a solid reputation specialising in providing superb experiences across many environments.

Whether you are planning a corporate event in the Purbecks, a charity cycle ride across France, a pop-up bar for a wedding in a field or a fine dining dinner party for 8 in your own home, no job is too big or too small. Appetite for Adventure can comfortably cater from 5 up to 5,000 people at any one time and can take their services to any location.

Supporting local

We are very proud members of the New Forest Marque in line with our passion for “supporting local”. Wherever possible (and depending on what is in season) we source our ingredients from our extensive network of fantastic local producers.

In August 2016 we were awarded “Best Supporter of Local Producers” by the National Parks Association in recognition of our efforts with local suppliers and the way in which we support them in various ways through all our businesses, including championing their offerings via our marketing and social media channels.
